A third generation Native American jeweler, I began creating original works alongside my mother as a child in Zuni, New Mexico. By the age of 18, my work had received multiple awards and recognition from The Heard Museum of Native Cultures and Art. After 4 years in the US Navy during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, I returned home with a renewed appreciation for my heritage and a determination to carry on the legacy of my mother and jeweler grandfather, Jacob Haloo. I currently create artistic interpretational jewelry by reconstructing traditional stones and therefore magnifying their inherent beauty.
